The work of an Underground Dumper, or Low Profile Dump Truck (LPDT) as it is also known, is the same as a Rigid Dump Truck or a Mining Tipper, just that it operates in confined spaces in underground mines of precious metal and other minerals. Due to its environment of work, an LPDT is engineered for restricted heights, sharp turns and steep inclines.
